Apresentação
O Mestrado em Pintura procura responder, na tradição da Faculdade, ao desenvolvimento e aprofundamento de estudos e de prática da Pintura como uma das disciplinas mais relevantes da arte contemporânea. O estudante deste curso tem a oportunidade de dar continuidade aos seus conhecimentos da história geral e da sua história recente, aliada ao conhecimento da prática da Pintura em estúdio. Esta é acompanhada pela discussão do seu trabalho em ambiente participado por artistas nacionais e estrangeiros de relevância internacional, construindo assim uma mais sólida identidade autoral.
The MA in Painting seeks to further develop and deepen the studies and painting practice as one of the most relevant disciplines in contemporary art. The students in this course have the opportunity to give continuity to the study of painting’s history—both general and very recent—together with the development of their practice in the studio. This will be accompanied by debate of their work in an environment with the participation of national and foreign artists of international relevance, thereby constructing a more solid authorial identity.
